It seems that One Data access permissions are derived from Catalog Item permissions.

I have a situation where a user group should only have read rights on Catalog Items within their domain but ful rights on One Data objects within that domain. This seems impossible?
This is for version 16.3.1

Hi @ViLas ,

Yes, in ONE Data 16.3.1, One Data object permissions follow the same sharing and inheritance model as Catalog assets. For the same user group within the same domain, it isn't possible to grant read-only access to the controlling Catalog Item (or Source) while granting full access to the related One Data objects using the default permission model. Achieving this would require customization of the permission model.

Kind regards,

Katia
