We have exciting news for you! New badges and ranks are here, and we’ve decided to open a contest to help more of our community members move up the ranks. 🚀
We’re boarding a spaceship together, exploring the data space. The question now is: Who will be our Starship Captain? Will it be you?
As part of the new ranking system, the more active you are in the Community (creating topics, replying to posts, appreciating others with likes), the more experienced your role on our space expedition will be.

You start as a Spaceflight Participant

The highest goal you can achieve is Starship Captain, thus becoming a superuser which will open up a world of new possibilities for you.

Once per month, we’ll announce the Rocketperson, a badge awarded to our most active user (based on discussion participation, adding questions, and contributing with suggestions and answers)
You might be wondering about our Credly badges. If you successfully complete Ataccama training or certification, we will issue these badges for you, too.
🏃How can I participate in the contest?
- Join the Data People Community
- Create a topic or reply to one already in the portal
- Add a comment to this thread with all of the following information:
- Tag a friend who has joined the Community based on your recommendations
- Share a link to a topic that’s been posted on the Community and that you liked the most
- Answer this question - When and where will Data People Summit take place? (small hint - check out our Event page)

The contest runs August 15, 2022 - September 23, 2022
The winner will be announced on September 26, 2022.

All participants who complete the tasks mentioned above will be included in the prize raffle.
