Hi everyone 👋

We're so excited to announce a major update to our gamification program!

As part of our ongoing efforts to recognize and reward your valuable contributions to the Ataccama Community, we've revamped our ranks system to make your journey even more engaging and rewarding.

What are user ranks?

Member ranks are a fun gamification element that incentivizes participation, rewards quality, and establishes reputation in the community. Every member of the community is assigned a rank based on their contributions.

So, what's new?

🌟 Fresh ranks: We've introduced new ranks to reflect your growing expertise and involvement within the community. Whether you're a seasoned member or just starting your journey, there's a rank that aligns with your level of participation. You will see your rank icon displayed next to your profile image.

🚀 Clear progression: With our updated ranks, we aim to provide a clearer path of progression as you contribute and engage with the community. Watch as you climb the ranks and unlock exciting perks along the way.
(🎁🤫: rewards range from consultancy hours, training sessions to invites to roadmap presentations with the product team with some more surprises)

💡 Enhanced recognition: Your dedication and contributions don't go unnoticed! Our revamped ranks system ensures that your achievements are celebrated, providing you with the recognition you deserve for your valuable insights and contributions on the community.

How to get involved?

Ready to elevate your status within Ataccama’s Community? Here's how you can get started:

📝 Share Your Knowledge: Create and contribute to discussions, share your expertise in best practice posts, and help fellow community members solve challenges by providing solutions and answers.

👍 Engage with Content: Like, comment, and engage with posts that resonate with you. Your interactions fuel the vibrant exchange of ideas within our community.

That’s great and exiting news!

Thank you for the feedback @Maria Golikova 💪

Looking forward to this. Thanks.

Excited to see you on the ranks @Rochel👀

I’m looking for documentation related to the various programming languages which can be used to write rules. I expect to be writing a lot of rules and I want to specialize in the hardest ones which require the most programming knowledge and skill.

Let’s start with the obvious first one - Ataccama’s own language; where do I find the details?

What are all the other languages which can be used with Ataccama?  I’ve heard SQL and Regular Expressions, so far.

Like it or not our team is going to have to import or manually rewrite rules from Informatica (IDF).  Does anyone have any experience or comments on this?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Tim

Hi @TimBrown74, we have some guides to start with on DQ Rules on the community as well as our Training Resources library featuring multiple short videos on Rules. Our documentation portal also has a comprehensive DQ and DG guides. I’d suggest starting from these resources to work your way into more complicated builds. Please let me know if these are helpful or if you need any additional resources.
