One of the common issues data engineers face today is not being able to validate the quality of the data stored in the Snowflake. While it’s possible to do some basic analysis using SQL this isn’t always sufficient enough when there is a need to validate a phone number, or if a physical address is existing, or email has valid syntax. So this is when we enter - Ataccama DQ here.

How it works?

The App has a predefined set of 50+ DQ rules available for you out of the box that you can use while writing SQL code in Snowflake. The DQ scores will be a part of the output of the SQL statement and support your organization to validate the quality of contact and personal information easily. With the DQ Snowflake native App you can:

For example, you can validate country codes as below or records with valid email addresses, and use the valid records for your own use cases.
