Can anyone guide me on how to generate an audit for every action, log it, and integrate the logs with the UI in Ataccama One Desktop? Any best practices or examples would be greatly appreciated!

I am not fully sure if I understand your requirement completely, but regarding logging on Desktop plans I usually do the following.

Suppose you want to log how the data has processed so far in the plan, you can, depending plan logic, add a condition or multiplicator step in the flow and then connect a text or csv file as log.

Hi ​@Albert de Ruiter, Sorry, I need information on auditing every action (event ingestion) based on entities and ensuring that it is tracked, logged, and integrated with the UI. In a single desktop GUI configuration, all options should be enabled. Apart from this, what else needs to be developed and configured? Please elaborate on this and provide examples and code snippets.

 


Hi ​@Thanuja , the only other auditing option that I can think of is the creation of audit files along with a metadata writer step, but I think you mean something completely different… I'm afraid I cannot help you with what you are looking for then.
