How I can use create sql catalog on s3 files (csv, parquet) in Ataccama One Web Knowledge Catalog.

Do Ataccama use AWS S3 CData drivers

Hi @feroz, I’ve checked with the team, and at the moment, it is not possible to achieve this using either CData or native Ataccama drivers. The only available option is to utilize AWS Athena, but there are certain limitations when it comes to using it for Parquet or CSV. I have shared your feedback with the team and if there are any changes in regards to this you can always find them in our Product Updates section, please feel free to subscribe to get notifications whenever we have a new releaseπŸ””

Hi @feroz, thanks for posting! May I ask if you’ve had a chance to take a look at the AWS documentation here?

@Cansu We expect Ataccama catalog is able build catalog and users should be able to use SQL to perform query on cloud storage
