I’m hoping someone can help.  I created a term called Personal Information (PI).  I’m trying to create a detection rule to find all columns that are considered PI.  Ideally, I would be looking at both the name and the data within.  Is that even possible?

@keithjanke Yes that is possible! You should be able to use either of these options for the detection rule. While I have not used the “Based on data” option, i would assume that you should be able to create a regular expression that search for specific elements of PI. With this instance, you will most likely need to create different Business Terms based on different Personal Information Classifiers. The easier approach would most likely be the “Based on Metadata” option. If your column names are the same across different tables / sources, it should be straight forward to add all column names for Ataccama to look for, and then attach the Personal Information business term to this detection rule.

Once your detection rule is created, navigate to settings under the business term and add the detection rule to begin scanning your catalog items.
