Hi everyone,

I’ m having an issue with missing DQ results  in one of my dashboards.

The dashboard had been running successfully for a long time, but it failed on July 27. After investigating, I fixed the issue on October 16, and it has been running normally since then.  However, the DQ results  between July 28 and October are missing, most likely because the dashboard didn’t run during that period or it failed for some reason. 

Is there a way in Ataccama to rerun DQ jobs or recalculate results for specific past dates?

Or is there another recommended approach to fill this gap in the DQ dashboard?

Unfortunately I do not believe you can rerun the project for this specific date range without changing the underlying catalogs.

What you could do is create new catalog items and adjust the query by an timestamp field to be able to run DQ on records up to that point. If it is running daily, This may be a pain to do so, but i do not believe there will be another way. Something also to note, is that the dashboard will show run results as of the time the project ran. So separating this into a new data quality project may be the way to go in order to preserve the historical runs of the other project. 

 

If you are using another tool such as PowerBI or Tableau, you may be able to stitch the dashboard results together, but not entirely sure on that.
