Hello @KarthikaSPillai , from what you say I understand that you are trying to run DQ evaluation using Detection rule. But Detection rule is used to detect terms on attributes during Profiling, not to run data quality. The be able to run DQ evaluation, you have to assign DQ rule to a term - there is a section Data Quality Evaluation under the Settings tab, where you can assign DQ rules, that will be evaluated if term is assigned to an attribute: https://support.ataccama.com/home/docs/aip/latest/user-guides/one-web-application-user-guide/business-glossary/terms-and-rules#TermsandRules-DataQualityRules.1

@KarthikaSPillai Can you verify if you have the same data types for the input attribute of the DQ rule as well as the data type of the attribute the term is mapped to? If the data types differ (e.g. Date vs Datetime) the DQ will not be evaluated.

The data type is integer for both employee number and DQ Rule

@KarthikaSPillai in that case I recommend to reach out to our support team https://support.ataccama.com/. It’s very hard to tell what is the issue here, it may be some misconfiguration of something completely different. Please insert some screenshots of your configuration + the version you are using in the support ticket.
