Is there any way to give some logical name to the catalog item which is added in Monitoring Project. Actual catalog name and the catalog instance name present in MP should be different. Is that possible?

thank you for your question. Unfortunately, this is not currently possible. You can potentially add a new field into the projectCatalogItemInstance entity (e.g. label), however this feild would be available only through API, never through the front-end as that isn’t ready for such a field.
Please feel free to raise this as an idea though, if we have more customers interested in this feature, we can try to prioritize this in the future development.
