Connecting to cosmosDB from Ataccama ONE DESKTOP

Hi Team,


I am checking on connecting to Cosmos database from Ataccama One Desktop, can you please share any documentation or usecase available to do that.

@Rohith1217 , here’s a doc page on how you can connect to a database in ONE Desktop.

https://docs.ataccama.com/one-desktop/latest/databases/databases.html

You’ll need a database driver for it from somewhere, I don’t believe cosmosDB driver is supplied with the ONE Desktop build. You should be able to get help from the DBA who owns the cosmosDB you are connecting to?

Few things to start:

What version of Ataccama do you use?

Are you looking to only connect from ONE Desktop, or do you think you will need to connect from the web app as well? 

Is your Ataccama application self managed on prem, hybrid, or fully PaaS?

Do you have a jdbc driver already yourself?

Are you looking to only connect from ONE Desktop, or do you think you will need to connect from the web app as well?  -- First trying to connect from Ataccama ONE Desktop

Is your Ataccama application self managed on prem, hybrid, or fully PaaS? -- Self managed on prem

Do you have a jdbc driver already yourself? -- NA
