Term Detection Rule: Based on metadata

Rules based on metadata use information about asset, e.g. description, Catalog Item or data source name.

Is there an option to expand this function to detect our โ€œadd custom metadataโ€?

For example:  On the Catalog Item level: Data Classification, Criticality, and Data Asset Type

Hello @Catherine , as far as I know, itโ€™s not possible to add any additional metadata. But I asked directly our engineering to confirm and I will let you know once I have more details. We can also create a feature request.

Kind regards,

Anna

Hi @Catherine, just to follow up here once more Anna has created an internal product feedback request. At the same time, Iโ€™d encourage you to create one on the community so that other members can support the idea and upvote. Iโ€™m closing this thread for now ๐Ÿ™‹โ€โ™€๏ธ

Hello @anna.spakova  If it is not possible to do this, I will add this to a product enhancement request as it would be beneficial to so we chance expand our rules based on these extra metadata fields.  Thanks.
