Hi community,

I am looking for a bit more clarity about Term Suggestions Synchronization. In the Documentation Portal I read that the synchronization is only relevant after a database restore or ‘by importing any initial content (default, demo, etc.)’.

For me it is not clear what is meant with this initial content. Importing a catalog item for the first time, or? Does anyone know?

Hi, thanks for the question! You are right that the documentation is unclear, we will improve it.

Term suggestions Synchronization button is used only if the data in the AI services and the Catalog would get out-of-sync. This might happen only in the following two situations:
1) When restoring the Catalog database from a snapshot (/organization/application/backup-restore)
2) If the platform is deployed for the first with some default content (e.g. terms, etc)

So any normal operation (importing sources, assigning terms, ...) should be eventually reflected by the Term Suggestions and it si not necessary to use the button.
