Hi
I’m Using the Windows DQ Analyzer - free version.
I have used the business rules functionality, but I have been wondering what the idea behind the “null” value is? And what makes data fall into the “null” value?

Hello
I believe null stands for empty values, so how many records have missing values for the attribute. In your case all records have the value populated.
EDIT: I just noticed it’s for a business rule “attribute” is not empty. So in this case the null result doesn’t make sense probably, but it can happen that you have a DQ check (e.g. value is bigger than XX) when result cannot be true or false, because the value is actually empty.
Kind regards,
Anna
