DQC loading db tables

Good afternoon.

Is there any transforms in DQC that can delete rows from db table, update rows in db table except SQL execute and precode in JDBC writer?
Why does Step Join in DQC allow join only by “=” ?

Best regards

Hello Marianna,

To delete rows from a db table you can either use SQL execute or the before/after SQL scripts in the Advanced option of the JDBC Reader/Writer. If you would like to do a one-time SQL command, without running a plan, you can connect to the database in the DQC IDE, then right click on your table of choice and execute a SQL delete command in the Editor.
About the Join Step - you can use outer join to return the unmatched rows (the non equal ones). Alternatively, you can use the jdbc reader step to execute the SQL command you would need.
