Total number of records

Edit Subject

Showing the total number of records selected by the query in SQL Editor would be helpful (at least as a warning after read rest button is pressed).

Hi David, to ensure we understand this idea correctly - would you like to see the total number of records which would be read in case you press the "read rest" button
(i.e. the number which would be returned by select count(*) where ... your condition ?).

Therefore you would know whether it makes sense to wait till all records are read or it would take too long.

  Hi Jakub, thank you for your reply. I meant exactly select count (*) ... Maybe it's not too systematic (it can be entered as a separate query), but for me it seems to be user-friendly.
  Alternative: "This query returns more than N rows. Do you want to proceed?"
