How do I view existing database connection information?
I have an existing database connection that I established months ago. Now I want to create another connection on the same database but to a different schema and I just want to view how I set up the existing connection so I can do it the same way. When I right click on the database connection, the edit connection option is disabled. Can you help me?

1Hello
Your idea of right-clicking on existing database connection and selecting "edit connection" option is right. This option is disabled, when you are currently connected to the database (whenn you can click on it and select tables). You only need to disconnect ("disconnect" option in the same menu) and then the "edit" option will be available and you can check connection information.
After that, you can connect to database again at any time. Moreover, disconnecting from database in database explorer will not affect running configurations using this database.

Hello Ric,
thanks for the question. I expect that your problem is that you are actually connected to the database. Choose Disconnect first and then you should have enabled the Edit connection.
I hope this will help you, otherwise tell me and we'll find another solution. -
